Geordi

Really, it was quite funny ...

I was round with Tony getting ready to go out that evening which was my birthday, probably in 1999 at a guess and Tony was doing what he always did, trying to set me up with people and he suggested Geordi.

He showed me pictures of this very attractive guy from the States and immediately I was running scared.

There was no way back then I had that level of confidence to be talking to attractive guys, I was way below them in the pecking order of life.

As was the way, eventually I grew up and realised I was not so bad after all and that is when I really got to know Geordi, got to like and respect him as a friend. A friend that I make no effort for to my shame but a friend none the less.
