Guys & Dolls
If Barbie is so popular, why do you
have to buy her friends?

Left, These guys were never like this in
Beverley Hills 90210!
Right, we have our Ken doing his thing with none other
than Peter Andre! |

To be honest, Elvis here is not the dolls I
would have wanted, the one I want comes as part of the 'Barbie loves Elvis' gift set. This
version is actually a telephone! Marilyn is a doll I hope to replace with the beautiful
Barbie version ASAP. This one is OK and for only £10 what am I complaining about, but I
just love the Barbie version! |

Barbie has done a few famous people in her
time, Marilyn is one of the more recent, one I am ashamed not to have is Dorothy of OZ! I
mean, call my self a queer and I don't have Dorothy! She has also been Scarlet O'Hara and
Eliza Dolittle, probably a few others, I'll get back to my books! |
This is a small collection of my
'dolls'. Most are in my bedroom but I have a much larger collection scattered throughout
the house
Left, Does this prove that
Robbie Williams (no relation) really is queer too? Judging by where Ken has his
hand it is very possible!
Right, Did you ever wonder what happened to
MC Hammer? Well here he is, obviously a complete queer giving a 1970's Ken a bit of a
feel! |
The influence of Robbie again! I always had
questions about the sexuality of Take That! |

But seriously, I doubt any of them are
actually gay but a guy can dream can't he? Do we know of any gay members of Boy bands?
Stephen, from Boyzone is strongly rumoured to be batting for our side and he is too cute
to be straight! Do we have any confirmed gays in the boy band industry? Well
you heard it here first! I had it down as a rumour about our Stephen and
now we know for a fact... HE IS FAMILY! |

Above, A fine bunch of Lesbians if I ever
did see any! |
To the left are my oldest dolls.
I have
Ken, Barbie and Alan (Ken's friend..yea right!) Now there just has to be a reason why Ken
and Barbie never got married and my guess is that he and Alan have a bit of a thing for
each other. Alan did actually marry Barbie 'friend' Midge but they apparently separated
after yet another 'camping' trip that Ken and Alan were on.
To the right there is a reproduction of one of the
original Barbie dolls and next to her an absolutely stunning 'black' Barbie.. I'll search
out all my book and remind myself what they are called for the next update... this really
is not good enough! |
I like to have as many Disney related items
as possible too. Trouble is, they are very hard to come by when I happen to have the cash
to buy them |

These two come from the Disney resort in
Paris. On the left is a guy from Pirates of the Caribbean and on the right is Davy
Crocket. The Barbie on the right speaks French, well not fluently but the normal sort of
stuff you expect from a Barbie doll! |

This is a group from Aladdin, one of my
favourite Disney Movies. The Genie we bought from Disneyland Paris but both Aladdin and
Jasmine were bought really cheaply |
It is strange how this silly little affair
came to pass, apparently Mattel withdrew permission for Barbie to appear as Little Bo Peep
in Toy Story but not before they had commissioned this doll which appeared in shops about
the same time as the release of the film |

You may ask yourself why these three are
here together? I have no idea! The point I was going to make was that both the evil
bitches are not real dolls but simply Barbie in a mask and costume, Mary Poppins (bless
her!) is her own glorious self however. |
Some Day My Prince Will Come... well that's
as may be, for now you will have to make do with the doll dear! |

Hercules is a very recent addition to the
Disney clan. I had to wait until Christmas 1998 before they were affordable! |

This batch are a selection of beautiful
examples of out of the ordinary Barbie. I shall give more information on them in due
course |
| This next group are a
selection of European and US 'Happy Holidays' Christmas specials |

Left is Captain Hook
from the Masters of Menace series
Right is Kevin which we bought for £5 from a shop in
Leicestershire before he realised how much money he could make from selling Barbie dolls. |
